I built a SpriteSheetPacker.lua module to import data files from Nick Gravelyn’s bare-bones but still excellent (and free) Sprite Sheet Packer. Built originally for XLNA, it does a bang up job on all kinds of files. And with my SpriteSheetPacker.lua module the Output coordinates can be loaded into a table ready to rock Corona’s new ImageSheet API.
