Starting Corona SDK Basic Questions

Hello,

Hope you are doing fine. I am new user who want to learn Corona. I am looking for some answers and may be there can be some documentation or books available for these:

  1. How can I test developed app on my iOS or Android device? Like in XCode we have option to build app either on Simulator or on Device. Please note that I have not yet purchased Corona SDK, I am using free one.
  2. Which one is the best books with examples and exercises to learn with? Name please with author name.
  3.  Which kind of applications can be developed using this?
  4. Is there any example of Hybrid App?
  5. Can I publish app on AppStore, if yes then how? After Building the app on my desktop what I need to do.

  1. Too vague a question to provide a worthwhile answer - perhaps best to ask about Corona’s limitations, such as QR Code, AR, etc…

  2. ? If you’re on about integrating webviews, then yes Corona can do this.

Thanks for your reply, from last few days I am trying to search in corona docs but unable to find “How to test developed app on my own device”. Please let me know if you have specific link for that. Or I want to know “Code Signing Identity” is required to build for device. When I select device then build option is disabled. I think first I need to create provisioning and certificate files and then I can use this function right?

Once again, just now I tested my build application on Android and it works perfectly. But there is a problem of Application icon, it shows only corona icon. How can I change this icon.
