Hello there, I’m making an asynchronous multiplayer game with Coronas (love it by the way) and was looking into the best way to support this. I found a few database solutions like Pubnub, but GPS really piqued my interest, especially considering it works on Android and iOS. I looked at Coronas’ support of GPS but could really find much in terms of its current state. So…
- Is there a timeline for iOS availability
- Would it be smart to start building with GPS now in hopes that iOS will be ported soon?
- How well is the async multiplayer component supported (if at all)?
As you can probably tell I haven’t drilled very long for the answers to these questions and I’m hoping someone can provide me with some recent news. Thanks a ton!
