Static online rooms for Corona?

Hello,

I’m trying to make a messaging app in Corona similar to ‘Whatsapp’, and I want to use static rooms to keep multiple users inside a conversation even after they’ve disconnected from the server, and also to keep the data of that room for long periods of time.

I’ve tried AppWarp but it does not allow to create static rooms outside the AppHQ dashboard, and also does not allow saving for long-term data in the server…

Are there any suggestions how to go about this?

Roll-Your-Own with Coronium?  That is the first idea that pops into my head.  It is not exactly designed for that, but I see no reason why it could not be used to make such a product.
