I can get the storyboard,widget,ui examples to work in trial version.

Corona does not have a built in radio button/checkbox example, though the folks who do Particle Candy and Text Candy have just released a GUI Candy product that supports those types of widgets.
There have been many changes to Storyboard and Widget since the last public release of Corona. Walter posted yesterday, they are in a bug fixing cycle now and hope to have a release candidate for a new pubic release version soon.
If you need these features today, I would go ahead and subscribe. If you’ve been playing around and working with it, you should have a good idea on what Corona can do and you can get the latest daily build and get fun things like FaceBook Single Signon, the OAUTH library (in the Twitter sample code), Game Center integration, Sprite sheet improvements, mask fixes, and a host of other goodies.
