storyboard.showOverlay() function not taking options parameters?

Hi All,

I’ve set up storyboard.showOverlay() and have it working in the sense of the overlay appearling however none of the effects or times I’ve tried passing it have worked. The overlay scene just “pops in” to existence immediately without the appropriate transition over time. I’ve added the overlay scene’s display elements to the scene’s group so that’s not the issue.

Am I missing something? It feels like the API is broken.

Does anyone know if there’s a known issue with this? I’m using 2012.971

Not sure what I did but I now have the options effect and time parameters working…

One challenge I still have is that the “isModal = true” options parameter doesn’t seek to work. I am able to have touch events detected by the non overlay scene. I am using .971 so isModal should work according to the docs.

Thanks for any insight anyone has  [import]uid: 105707 topic_id: 34957 reply_id: 138956[/import]

I am also having this problem, could you share what you did to make the effects work?

Cheers,
