It is a top view racing game where you can win money, win cars, loose cars, and buy/sell cars. there are 14 different cars with different speed & handling over 5 tracks with unlockables.
@chris_raz
Your game looks cool and it looks like you spent a lot of time on it.
Did you get licenses from those car companies to use the cars in your game? Did you take or license the photography you used on the car screens? If you did, then awesome and you can ignore the rest of this post. If you didn’t I would recommend you proceed carefully.
Last time I checked EA paid BMW a very large sum of money to be the exclusive game licensee.
Ok so i have upgraded to a pro subscription and now should have it ready within a week… just getting my head around building for iphone. Will let you know once available on the App Store with some codes.
Brad, it actually only took me a couple of weeks, although that’s because i already have another top view racing game (Formula Grand Prix) which i used the same engine. although this game runs much faster and smoother with the paths of the cars are actually raced by my self as opposed to drawn choppy paths in formula grand prix.
Also you have made a good point and are absolutely correct. I do have the rights to the images, but the manufacturers i do not. I removed any imaging of the cars side views which display the car models.
Will keep you guys posted with the ihpone release.
I thought I had read somewhere that Apple had changed their policy and people who use promo codes could submit a review. But it blocks me saying I haven’t purchased and downloaded the app.
Has anyone else been able to submit a review lately, after using a promo code? [import]uid: 67839 topic_id: 20352 reply_id: 88011[/import]
