strings.xml app_name parameter

Corona doesn’t appear to create an entry in strings.xml called “app_name” which apparently is a Java convention.

I’m working with a tablet provider who places their tablets in many restaurants. Their automated build tool relies on the presence of this value in strings.xml - does anyone know whether there’s a way to get Corona to put it in?

I tried decompiling the .apk using apktool, editing string.xml, and recompiling, but then the APK wouldn’t launch, so I’m assuming apktool isn’t flawless.

Thanks

it’s impossible with current corona SDK.

I asked the same question few weeks ago.
