I don’t expect Corona to help me out here though I was curious if anyone has had issues running their games on a Custom Rom.
I personally use the Foxhound ROM on my GS3. The game I am working on was running very smoothly but after installing the custom ROM it stutters quite a bit. Old versions have the same problem. I have improved the efficiency significantly (using Corona Profiler) and nothing has changed. Even running a performance governor which locks my CPU at 1.4GHz doesn’t help. Yet it works smoothly on my friends stock GS3.
I have tried downloading another Corona made game (Bouncing Balloons) and there is also some noticeable stutter going on.
Has anyone else had such experiences? Any working fixes / tweaks?
