Hi the link to submit the app says Page not found

Sorry about that Leonardo. Our website changes from time to time and it’s near impossible to go back and update old threads like this.  The new form is at:

Hi

I just launched my first game on Google Play. It would be great with some feed back. Positive and negative, so the next game becomes even better.

Hi,

Just got our first Corona app into the Apple app store (for iOS): PhotoLinx

(it’s a special purpose app for a nursery, not for general users).

First version of the app written in a day … then the last 1% took several weeks

Uses Lerg’s QRScanner (thanks!)

We initially targeted Android, but the client wanted an iOS version too.  We found it took as long to wade through Apple’s certificates, provisioning profiles, and other red tape as it did to write the app alone!

hi, Cihan

I tried your app. It’s super fun and funny - I actually smiled while playing it. One thing though - I find it quite difficult to play. Could be just me as I am not a gamer per se… Do you get any data of how many levels players usually finish? Also since I tend to crash a lot, I get quite a lot of ads. Have you tried just the left/right mechanics like runner games usually are? Still gave you a 5 star rating for support.

We just released our first game built with Corona SDK after years in the making.  We call it Zantics Racing.  It’s a gravity based racing platformer type of game.  It has a single player campaign, multiplayer racing along with leader boards, and many hidden throwbacks and Easter Eggs.

This has been a family project with my children playing and giving me ideas.  We’d love to get some feedback from everyone.  Please check it out:

Congratulations!  Based on the screenshots it looks pretty cool.

Rob

Congrats to you and your family on job well done!  I think it is fantastic to see a family work together to make such a great looking game.

Best of luck with it.

Bob

Thanks guys… and thanks for all the support on the forums over the years Rob.

Hi all,

We are a small indie team from Finland. Our latest game, The Sidekicks was released in Autumn 2017 for iOS and Android. The game itself is an old-school platformer, where you play with three different heroes, all of whom have their unique superpowers.

The game has gotten pretty good user ratings (about 4,5) and was featured in a few countries (App Store) and by Touch Arcade and Pocket Gamer.

Please go ahead and give it a try! The game is free. Feedback is highly appreciated

About technical stuff: We used Corona SDK (of course), Dusk (not sure if the Dusk Tile Engine is still live and kicking), CBEffects, Unity & AppLovin Ads, Flurry Analytics, Achievements, In-App Purchases and so on. If you have any questions about these, I’m happy to help.

Tommi,

I think it is an excellent side-scroller.  The intro is fun and looks like a top-notch professional game. Well done!

I downloaded it and played it a bit, and it is fun.  I hope to find time this weekend to play it a bunch more.

Best of luck with it!

Bob

It looks good.

Thanks Bob! Glad to hear that you find the game fun

Hello Rob,

When I try to post my game on the stories form the sending seems to be broken (there is an hidden message (white text on white background) : THERE WAS AN ERROR TRYING TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER.

The publishing page that allow “Corona Labs to help get your game published and promoted to a larger audience” has a 404 error too.

I hope this is only a temporary problem

Sam

I’m investigating the issue with the stories form. As for publishing, we have taken that page down for now. Where did you find a link for that? We removed it from our home page, I thought.

Hmmm. found a reference in the footer.

Rob

The form should be working again.

Thanks a lot Rob.
Is the help for publishing app definitely closed or is it just temporary ?
