Subtitles over video

Hi guys,

I’m about to possibly ask a really stupid question, however, I’m trying to find out if the below is possible.

Right then, I’ve managed to work out how to put a video into my app (a .mp4) however, I need to also add some subtitles, is this possible? I have the subtitles as a .txt file with timecode that matches the video, is there a way of having these over the video? I know you can in quicktime and other software packages, however, any ideas if you can/if its at all possible, to add these to video in Corona?

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your help with this.

I have a feeling it may not be possible, however, any ideas welcomed.

Cheers all,

Video is a native feature which sits in a layer above the OpenGL layer were you can do text, so it’s not possible to put overlays on top of native.* widgets. [import]uid: 199310 topic_id: 35793 reply_id: 142405[/import]
