states that regarding audio sample rates, “supported values are 11025, 22050, and 44100. Other values are not tested”. Has anyone tested it with other sampling rates though? I am mainly interested in 32000 as I find it to be a good compromise between file size and sound quality. I don’t see a reason why current Android and iOS devices would not support 32k.

I’m having trouble recording at 16000 sample rate.
In Windows simulator, the recording is made in 11025 and in Android, 44100
I´ve registered a bug, but I have not received any return from the Corona yet.
To solve the problem, I am thinking recording áudio in 44.100 or 22.050 and convert the frequency to 16000 by software
I do not think it’s an Android issue. I´ve downloaded the app “Wav Recorder” from Play Store, and I´m able to record 16K audio, with no problem …
