Support to HDRI or Image360?

Hello guys, o/

I work with Architectural Visualization and i’m working on an app that allows user to see Images, Videos and 360° Images of apartments and stuff like that. I already have developed the visualization for flat images and videos, pretty easy i must say, but when i searched about Corona + HDRI/360°Images i couldn’t find anything.

Can you guys tell me if theres any way to work with this kind of image on Corona? Please tell me that there is a way, i don’t want to go back to Java  hahaha.

(sorry for the bad english haha )

Hello, So bad news for you because corona is a 2d egine and not 3d… You could probably use unity and get this done… Im thinking you want something like samsungs virtual tour ?? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxphLIrF_hE

Well Good Luck!

We can use a flat jpeg with a 360 rendered image to simulate the 3D, im just curious to know if Corona haves something that helps scalling and rotating the 360image on the right perspective.

Example: Samsung GearVR haves a 360° image viewer that its nothing but a png with a scene rendered on a 360° camera, i want to simulate this without the GearVR.

Thx for ur help o/

i don’t think corona will provide us this kinda of solution.

meanwhile, you can try using an html5 360 viewer that reconize the sensors of a smartphone. then in corona you just need to open a webview to display it and use the gyroscope to move around the picture.
