I’m trying to get my app to use local notification while suspended, the app needs to check a few things in the background say every half an hour, but a timer doesn’t appear to execute after the app is suspended.
Is there any way to have the app actually perform code and send a local notification while suspended?
I know that many games do this, but I’m struggling to figure it out with Corona.
