We are looking into a move from our paid app to a free with in-app purchases. Originally we were going to add a new free version that you can unlock to get all the features, but we have a leaderboard and from what I can see you cannot share leaderboards between two different applications. The second option is to change the paid to a free with in-app purchase. Is there any way to ensure the people who have purchased the paid version will not have to pay to unlock the updated game? I have a way of handling this right now, but if the customer uninstalls the game, or gets a new device it will be locked again. Any ideas? Hi @nahmeenstudios,
I am also searching for an answer for the same question.
Could you please share if you found a way to do that?
I am about to release my app in 2 weeks as a paid-app, and want to make is free-with-inApp 2/3 months after releasing the paid version.
It seems you went through that path already, so I thought it will helpful for me to get some inputs from you.
Could you please share what kind of problems/issues I may get into if I chose to do that way (paid and change it to in-App) ?
Thanks in advance.

I too would like to know the answer. I don’t want to have angry customers after I go to freemium model because all of their paid features get wiped out. [import]uid: 79620 topic_id: 20704 reply_id: 97700[/import]
