Sync with iOS Health Kit?

Hi there,

some users ask me to sync there data with the iOS Health Kit APP

any ideas how i could do that?

There isn’t with Corona SDK. It is probably possible with Enterprise though. I looked at the Healthkit API’s once. there are a lot of them, but they didn’t look particularly difficult to work with.

HI, could someone make a plugin?

or is there a chance it will be implemented in corona Pro (what i think less :frowning:

It would not be practical to add this to the core. We don’t want to bloat everyone’s apps by including extra frameworks.

This would be a great plugin for the community to tackle. There are no entries for HealthKit on our feature request site.  I would suggest you go to http://feedback.coronalabs.com and start a feedback entry for this. If you could put [Plugin] at the beginning of your suggestion’s title would be really helpful.

i put it in the feature plugin request

but wouldnt it be possible that the corona server while compiling see if features like the healthkit are requested and only than implement the needed framework, for sure not for every app :slight_smile:

whats about the Plugin Store, I think i heard something is planned. 

I guess more plugins will come in, when the devs just can upload their work there.

The plugin store is up and operating for free plugins. Paid plugins will be coming at some point. See:
