System warning notification when launch an app

I have a strange problem. Started maybe 2, 3 weeks ago.

EDIT: This does not seem to happen when you install from Google Play. So, I’m not going to worry about it, but leaving the post in case someone else bumps into it

When I delete an app and install a new build, a few seconds after launching the app a system notification shows up: Warning triangle, notification sound, and the only content is the name of the app.

I’ve been googling, and wonder if it is something new on Google’s end, some message that goes out on a new install and is inadvertently captured by some receiver that is part of the Corona build. This thread is what I’m referring to: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/30479424/weird-push-message-received-on-app-start.

I use the plugin.google.play.services in order to show AdMob ads.

It appears to only happen on the very first launch, which is what they are talking about.

My log, grep on package name. Did not find the exact message they referred to in the stack overflow thread. Happy to grep on something else if you just let me know.

Hey! i actually had this same thing happen to me today! kinda weird tho… it only does it on first launch and then never anything happens anymore… but its doesn’t seem to affect anything so im going to ignore it and leave it alone… maybe its a bug in the new build? idk i haven’t looked into it so i cant say much more :)

I have seen the same thing. App built with version 2015.2574.

I’ve seen this in downloads from Google Play also. I filed a bugreport, case 42206.

Hey!
I’ve got exactly the same blank notification when app launch. Any ideas how to solve that problem?

Cheers!

The same thing in recent daily build

Haven’t had this lately …
