Hi, 

Is there anything we can do like this in Corona? 

Fetch/Record sound and calculate pitch or frequency runtime while recording…
Any kind of help or direction would be highly helpfull and appreciated

AFAIK Corona only has rudimentary support for audio recording (see the media.* API documentation), so I don’t think Corona SDK is the right tool for that kind of app. You probably want to go native instead.
