"Temporarily remove armv7s as architecture" - HUH?

Just saw in Daily builds summary that in build 909

iOS6: Temporarily remove armv7s as architecture because 3rd party libraries do not build for that architecture

Is this only for iOS or are android devices with armv7s processor also affected? Which iOS(and android) devices are effected by this change?

When can we expect the architecture to be supported again? [import]uid: 64174 topic_id: 31574 reply_id: 331574[/import]

armv7s is a brand new custom architecture only for Apple’s A6 chip in the iPhone 5. There are no other armv7s devices. iPhone 5 can run good-old armv7 without any problems.

@Ewing
Just clarifying… so if I build using 909 or above, the app won’t run on Iphone 5 if it has iOS6? [import]uid: 62560 topic_id: 31574 reply_id: 127961[/import]
