Testflight - Transaction failed - cannot connect to iTunes store

Hey all, I’m about to submit my first iOS app to iTunes and in Testflight, I keep getting prompted for my apple id and password and then I get the “cannot connect to iTunes” error message when I try to purchase anything via using iap_badger.

Any advice for troubleshooting this?  Are there any certain settings or configurations on my app side or on iTunes connect that I may have missed here?  I have added all of my IAP items iniTunes connect so I think I have that correct.

Any other ideas on what to check?

All of the items in my In-App Purchases list in iTunes Connect show “Waiting for Review” in their status. Is that correct?  My attempt at submitting my app was rejected for the same message I’m getting while testing the app. 

I just feel like that I’ve missed something here…

Are you using a dedicated testing account?

Have you logged out of the App Store and iTunes through your device’s Settings App and then logged in using the testing account when your app runs?

What kind of provisioning profile are you using?

Have you enabled IAP in the apps’ settings?
