Hi. I am trying to test my app on my iPhone. But i keep on getting an error saying “The application does not have a valid signature.” when i try to install it. Im trying to install it using iPhone Configuration Utility. Can anyone help me please. And also i cannot see anywhere that says “use for development” on the organizer at the device page.

I am not willing to get on skype, but feel free to explain what the actual problem is and maybe someone can help! [import]uid: 147305 topic_id: 27043 reply_id: 109787[/import]
Can it be because Xcode 4.2 does not support iOS 5.1 ?

Sounds like there is an issue with your provisioning profile(or certificate or something like that). When you created your provisioning profile did you choose the “Ad Hoc” option and then select your device? [import]uid: 147305 topic_id: 27043 reply_id: 109808[/import]
yes i did. [import]uid: 132369 topic_id: 27043 reply_id: 109809[/import]
maybe you have a subdirectory named “resources”?

No there are no subdirectories in my project folder. Is there any other reasons this is happening.

1.) your device is setup as a dev device.\
2.) you selected the right app id.
3.) you created a dev or adhoc provisioning profile.
4.) you installed this profile.
5.) you build with corona using this same profile with your device.
6.) you used the xcode organizer to put the app on your device.
if you did all of the above it should work with no problem. if you still have a problem then i would rebuild the prov profile and delete the one on your comp then install the new one and try again.

I am having this same issue. I did the iOS build and created and installed the .ipa file on my iPad for testing. There was an issue with the program, and it displayed a blank screen and crashed. I figured out the issue, deleted the app off of the iPad and rebuilt the file using the same provisioning profile. However, now I just keep getting the same “The application does not have a valid signature” error in Xcode.
Xcode 5.0.2 and Mac OSX 10.8.5.
