Hi I have been reading that the makers of Widget Candy are unresponsive and out of business… Is it safe to buy it and use it with Corona Cards for iOS/Android/WP8 ?

I loaded the Widget Candy Demo on my phone - it looks really good on Win 8 phone - but it is DOG slow, it has issues.
the list ( which is one I want to use ) seems to work ok.
I am going to start adding a little bit at a time to a project and see how it acts on my device.
