I’ve been poking around a bit and I can’t see to find anything about this. Ideally I’d like when my app launches an alert to come up where the user is asked to put in a name and hit Enter button. When the alert dismisses whatever was in the text field will be saved for later use.
Is there anyway to combine the alert with a textfield? If not is there any other way to get the same functionality? I’d prefer that the textfield not stay on screen once the name is entered, so that’s why I think having it in an alert would work nicely. [import]uid: 69531 topic_id: 13669 reply_id: 313669[/import]
