texture packer for windows (but is it illegal here?)

ok so for those that may not be able to afford to buy texture packer I was going through YouTube and I found this video [Removed by moderator] I think if your really serious about your coding this is a great alternative BUT after you start making money you should BUY THE SOFTWARE to support the developers

anyway if this is illegal please do remove it ASAP……………………….

This is crap!  We shouldn’t be scamming other developers period.  You can try the demo if you want to test the product it but don’t steal it.

I’m not sure if it is illegal to provide links to illegal content, but this is in poor taste in any case and as Corona has zero tolerance for supporting pirated content, your post and or this entire thread will be removed soon.

Edit: I just saw that you had a “#support developers” tag for this post  You can’t be seriously suggesting that pirating software made by another developer is supporting developers

Given you’re creating game art I’d love to get some assets done from you, I’ll gladly pay you as soon as I make some money.

Seriously this is the most absurd and dumb posting I’ve seen in a long time in a developers forum from someone offering “professional game art”.

I’m going to leave the post, but I removed the link. I want to officially say, we do not allow or promote software piracy.

If you’re going to use someone or some companies’ intellectual property (software, art, audio, etc) pay them to use it. Period.

I echo the responses above.  It is never cool to steal someone’s product(s).
