Good luck Carlos, I really appreciated your time replying emails and your activity on the forum, it was quite extraordinary for a CEO.
Said that, I’m still quite confused about this sudden news… Why so sudden, why just a very short message on the blog? Is Carlos really back at Adobe (where does this news comes from?)?
I’d like to have more official infos in the next days, since I’m getting a little worried about the “financial health” of Ansca as well (being a start-up etcetc)…

If these “Carlos went back to Adobe” rumors are based on this tweet from a few days ago (“got hired at adobe to work on PageMill a full WSIWYG html editor as well as sitemill - WSIWYG site manager :-)”), do realize that he was talking about a previous job. PageMill and SiteMill were around in the 90s.
I’ve never talked to Carlos (yet! :)) but still, I will certainly miss him. I, like many others above, saw him as the “face” of ANSCA and I always appreciated his enthusiasm and his active involvement with the product and its users. Carlos: Thank you. Thanks for everything Carlos, and the retweets. I’m concerned too about Corona, I think there should be an explanation of what will happen in the future. My mind can run wild with possibilities. One of which is Adobe stomping out Corona by buying them out (not uncommon) or weakening it so that it dies off slowly. Maybe the CEO has lost confidence in the product, the bugs were getting out of hand, or too many user complaints. Maybe Apple plans to ban interpreted languages so this technology is doomed. And because I based all my company business on Corona, I was very (and still) worried with Carlos leaving for “personal reasons” (it means so much different things…).

Same here, I’m quite worried and I’d like to see Ansca releasing some official infos to reassure all the developers.
I’ve been using Corona for all my projects and given the nature of Corona SDK (online compiling, subscription based, non open source), if something bad happens to Ansca… well, wow, that’s a hell of a problem.
