Hello everyone, I want to use system.getInfo( “model” ) to determine the model of the Iphone, but I only have an Apple computer, no other Apple phones and tablets.
I saw an article that said if it was an “iPhone 4” it would go back to “iPhone4” and iPhone would go back to iPhone.
So if the “iPhone 13” should be the “iPhone13”, right?
So what will return if use “iPhone 13 Pro Max” and “iPhone 13 Pro”?
There is also the “iPhone SE”, and the “iPad Air” and “iPad mini”.

I think that on iOS, system.getInfo( “model” ) will simply return “iPhone” or “iPad”, without saying which specific type of iPhone/iPad it is.
To get the actual device type, use system.getInfo( “ architectureInfo” ) instead.

You would just need to keep the list up to date, by checking that link in my first post whenever Apple release a new device (or by having your app download the text file from the link and parsing it).
