I’d like to ask what is the current state of support on Corona side for the OpenFeint, currently known as Gree game network?
I’ve read somewhere that the api is deprecated, so I was wondering…is it still usable on Android?
Are there specific limitations, etc?

Hi there,
Right now we don’t have support for Gree. We did support OpenFeint however Gree no longer allows new OF apps to be created so if you don’t already have it made in the OF dashboard you wont be able to create it now.
As far as I know OF is still useable on Android if you have a key, secret, etc. - someone may correct me on that as I don’t normally work with Android but I *believe* it’s still useable in these cases. [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 28927 reply_id: 116494[/import]
So then for android there isn’t any officially supported “game center” like solution for new games, right?
Any ETA on the possibility of integration with Gree?

Currently no official ETA that I am aware of. It may be worth posting in the roadmap/feature request sub forum on this though, just to voice your support.

I’m currently investigating GameMinion and have been poking around with their API…it’s currently in beta phase, and there are a couple of things missing, but I think it might do the job relative to what I need…which is global leaderboard. [import]uid: 117906 topic_id: 28927 reply_id: 116703[/import]
