The ipad view is very very contrained?

I’m not sure if I’m missing something, but I find the various simulator’s view rather constrained. The ipad in particular barely occupies half the screen on my laptop, surely it has a better resolution than this?

Is there a way to ‘zoom in’ beyond the max zoom?

I often wonder about this myself. Is it due to the simulator not being able to handle it? You would think that would be more up to the CPU(s)/GPU(s) than the sim itself.

Any word from the Ansca team?

The Corona Simulator displays the size that will fix within the current display window. If the entire screen image (including borders) fits, it will be displayed at 100%. If not, it will be displayed at 50%. If that doesn’t fix, it’s displayed at 25%.

You can zoom in/out using CMD+ and CMD- keys (on Mac) to alter the display. [import]uid: 7559 topic_id: 23580 reply_id: 94572[/import]

Ah, including borders. Time for one of those nice 27" iMacs i guess! (sombody’s dream’in…and IT’s ME!)lol

What about in Landscape mode. My rez is 3360 x 1050 but it will not expand when rotated. Is it all or nothing? Would it be possible to relax this to let the simulator borders go off screen? [import]uid: 21331 topic_id: 23580 reply_id: 94595[/import]
