About the Game:

Discover and solve the surprising secret behind the mysterious crimson manor.
Explore the old mansion and its surroundings, solving puzzles and discovering its many intriguing secrets, in one of the best adventure games made for iPhone.

Plot:

Strange weather events are happening in town lately, some people blame the eccentric Mr. Strange, an old scientist who performs strange experiments in his hill manor.

He decides to invite you, the best reporter in town, with the idea of making public its latest & wonderful discovery, which he describes it as:

“Something so wonderful that will change forever the way we see the world & the very fate of humanity”

You accept the invitation, but on arriving at the mansion, you cannot find anyone, you sense that something strange is happening there, so you decide to investigate…

Why would it be a clone? There are many adventure games available in the appstore. It’s not that they invented the genre :wink:

Why would I say something like that? I don’t know, it just looks identical. I know it’s a different game, and the art work is different of course. I was just wondering if this was inspired by the secrets of grisly manor. It looks like a fun game, I’m not doubting that, it just looks very similar etc (look at Samurai Fruit by the bros, it’s cool and its a clone and it’s very popular on Nook).

They remind me a lot of ‘The Seventh Guest’ , a cracking PC game I used to own.
Theres room for many of these.
Given how long they take to put together, the more the merrier.

Its very rare you find an original game concept anywhere.
Look how many posters on this site are deliberately ASKING for source code to create clones of specific game types.

Well, as i stated in another post, Fire Maple Games inspire me to make my own point and Click Adventure Games , I have played a lot of these games before, since the early nineties.

I don’t consider it a clone, all the puzzles , levels and history in the game are original, Maybe you think that because the Old Mansion theme but it is a concept widely used in fiction , try this game if you can, you will see its different in many ways, this is more history oriented.

I think that there should be more of this type of games developed with corona , people like them, this one is getting good review worldwide , it had like 5 or 6 five star reviews so far.

It would most likely help out your sales, if you gave away the promo codes to people on forums and ask them to review and rate your game.
