The Provisioning Profile of Distribution does not appear.
I have a valid certificate in Keychain Access.
Where is the problem?
This isnât really a Corona/Solar 2D issue, although I totally get the frustration.
Apple makes this process way too difficult and mysterious. They could literally make it a 1-2-3 click process and they donât. We give them 30% of our gross profits and the stick it to us with odd and hard to follow steps. Go Epic!
-
Try rebooting your mac.
-
Failing that, Google and follow the latest and greatest method for creating and installing a certificate.
-
Be sure you have the right version of xCode installed.
I guess you mean that the provisioning profile does not appear when trying to build from the Solar simulator?
As already said, Apple has made this a very complicated and tedious process, and it can go wrong in many waysâŚ
Given that you have already installed your certificate properly and that you have configured your provisioning profile correctly in your Apple Developer Account, here are a few more things you could try that have worked for me in the past:
-
Delete any old provisining profiles from Xcode. See: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/26732251/how-to-remove-provisioning-profiles-from-xcode
-
Reinstall provisining profiles from Xcode. Preferences -> Accounts -> Download Manual Profiles
-
Attach your device. Open Xcode Devices & Simulators. Right click your device and then âShow provisioning profilesâ. If you donât see your provisining profile in the list, try to add it manually using the â+â button. (Download the provisioning profile from your Apple developer account first)
Can you see any profiles at all in the drop down list box? Can you see the development profile for the app? It may be a simple case of clicking on the distribution profile before launching Solar2D. I have fallen foul of this myself. Good luck!
Thanks for all the tips and explanations. Nothing works.
Iâve been through this many times. And Iâve done a lot of the things that you guys put in the comments. Sometimes they have worked. And other times you do so many things that you donât really know what solved the problem.
In this case, I think the problem is in iTunnes Connect.
I have e-mailed Apple about an application that is listed as âcontract pending.â I only realized this. We will see if that is the cause.
I have reviewed the new contract that appeared, I have read and accepted it.
We will see if this is what affects the âProvisioning Profile of distributionâ.
I canât see how iTunes Connect and your appâs status can have anything to do with the provisiong profile not showing up when trying to build with SolarâŚ?
Maybe you could post some more details and/or screenshots of your problem?
Can you see the provisioning profile at all on your device in Xcode Devices & simulators?
Hmm ⌠it does seem feasible that a pending contract could affect a distribution profile. That does ring a faint bell in the distant past. Please indulge us. Are you seeing any development or distribution profiles in your list?
In Corona SDK or Solar 2D the development one appears.
But the distribution one does not appear.
In iTunesConnect I am not allowed to update the application. When I tap on the plus sign (+) I get an error and say âtry again laterâ. I made 10 attempts at different times.
I suppose that the distribution, updated and with the permission to send applications to the store, will be enabled by Apple in a few hours.
I have sent them an e-mail, they tell me that they will solve the problem shortly.
When theyâve done that, Iâm going to re-generate another distribution certificate, with a new Keychain Access permission.

Hi all. I have fixed the problem. Apple authorized the sale of one of the âoldâ applications that they removed from the store because they added other requirements and I had not read, completed and accepted them: the product is in the store.
Despite that, I did not have the distribution profile in the Simulator.
The problem was solved by generating a new MovileProvision for distribution. Therein lay the problem.
Thanks for everything.
