The training wheels are coming off..

With a felony conviction gone by and self esteem declining ever so fast.

I just can’t take using Corona anymore.

It is time to say good bye, Corona. You helped me build my first game, you helped me get orientated into mobile applications development. I would love to stay longer but it’s time to go. The wheels are coming off, boys. It’s time for me to move onto Objective-C…

My love for education and learning has grown. It is such a fun journey learning something intimidating instead of using something I’m used to.

Alan Perlis once said: “A language that doesn’t affect the way you think about programming, is not worth knowing.”

I can’t help but say it makes me feel better and more confident in taking this tremendous step towards native iOS programming.

I will always remember you though, Corona.

Best of luck to you Lucky. I’m sure you’ll find Objective-C both challenging and rewarding. At least they now have Automatic Reference Counting, which makes life so much better! [import]uid: 22076 topic_id: 19769 reply_id: 76613[/import]
