The wait for Android push is getting ridiculous

Is there ever actually going to be a Corona version with push for Android?

I think I am speaking on behalf of a lot of people when I say I am shocked how it is possible to push back such an important feature over and over and over.

We’ve been speculating if it’s maybe coming as a long awaited Christmas present, but even so, would it actually be fully functional, or are we looking at prolonged bug fixes far into next year?

Our turn-based game is more or less unusable without push. And since Corona cannot run code in suspended mode, programming sockets is not an option either.

I love Corona for its zero seconds compile time simulator and general ease of implementation, but stuff like this is a giant party stopper, and apologetic blog postings do not really help anyone.

I agree, we all want this done. We are on the same page. We will get there as soon as possible. [import]uid: 10668 topic_id: 33986 reply_id: 135114[/import]
