Time for a display.captureScreen update?

Was just thinking, is there any chance to get this into priority? Since most of the iOS users are now using retina-devices, and with the iPad 3 growing in popularity - I believe the display.captureScreen API is growing more and more useless…

I’m working on an app myself which heavily relies on this api, but since I’m working with HD backgrounds this api doesn’t cut it for me and I’m forced to put Corona aside and look for a different SDK…

So it would be great if an upgrade to this api could be bumped up in priority, it has lost most of its functionality already. Thanks  [import]uid: 14018 topic_id: 23371 reply_id: 323371[/import]

What issues are you having with it ? [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 23371 reply_id: 93630[/import]

It doesn’t save the image of the screen cap in retina resolution…It saves it in the old traditional 320x480 resolution. Or have I missed something? Is there a solution for this already? [import]uid: 14018 topic_id: 23371 reply_id: 93989[/import]
