I’ve gotten a lot of help from people over the years and have borrowed a lot of free code. I’d like to give back. We had a discussion a while back about having an animated progress indicator. There was not one to be had so I had to make it myself. I’d like to share it with anyone that needs one. It is here:

In this example my progress indicator is a beer bottle… because I really like beer!
In my game I used a vase. The point is you can use any mind of image you want. You will need to make a mask of your image. The mask I used is in them sample code and you can see how easy it is to make.
I suppose you could use the same kind of code to make a horizontal indicator also. You would just have to rejigger the math a little.
