That’s going to be hard to answer and provide a quote because we don’t know anything about your app.
How well you’ve organized the code impacts this.
How do you intend to send the push notifications? Do you have a server? Do we need to build the server side code too?
What do you want your app to do when it gets a notification?

Yes we have a server and I think you need to build the server side code too, the idea is when I post any update or new article in my blog to reflect the app notfication to let the users that an updated or article been posted.
