I have to connect to printer and print documents/files in my app. is that possible with Corona?

On iOS you can use AirPrint.

There are currently 3 pop up that support printing on the marketplace

https://marketplace.coronalabs.com/plugin/android-preview will show a preview of your document and then there are the 3 dots in the top left that will allow you to share your document. 

https://marketplace.coronalabs.com/plugin/android-share will allow you to share a document of any kind with the print pop up

https://marketplace.coronalabs.com/plugin/social-popup will allow you to share a photo with the print pop up

The last option is you go into Corona native and code your own solution.
