Touching the screen, erases the foreground and exposes the backgroud. Possible?

Hello guys, i would like to know if we can do this:

I load 2 images, one is background and the other is foreground. When i use my finger, touching the screen, the foreground image starts to be erased where i just  touched, exposing the background image, until the background is 100% exposed.

I already did a lot of research, but i could not find anything. Some say that you cant erase pixels from loaded images using corona… im really lost!

Thank you to everybody!

Hello @felipe.m.a,

Yes, this is possible, and a few users in the forums have shown how to accomplish it. However, this method requires premium graphics features available to Pro users only.

Best regards,

Brent

But in “indie” version,  there isnt a way to test the code?

Hi @felipe.m.a,

Yes, you can test this feature, but only in the Corona Simulator, and in that environment, you will receive a warning message that it’s a premium feature. If you build an app with a premium graphics API, it will not run on a device.

Best regards,

Brent
