Tracking the downloads of an App

Is there a way you can track or monitor the number of downloads your app receives on the Google play store ??

You don’t need to. Google play already does it for you, and provides extensive statistics and charts.

Where is it I can find these statistics and charts that Google Play have created ? I’ve looked around the dashboard but haven’t come across them.

They are in your developer console, the same place where you uploaded the app. Simply choose the app, then click on Statistics
