Transparent native input field background

Hi Ansca guys :slight_smile:
I know that a fully customizable text input method/field has been already requested and I definitely support this feature request.

Now I’m sure it takes time to do such a complex enhancement, so I’d like to ask for what could possibly be just a little and quick change to its behavior, something that maybe could be in one of the next daily builds… please :smiley:

Basically what I do desperately need (and I’m sure I’m not alone!) is that the default appearance of the native text input does NOT have the white background or alternatively is completely white (no inner shadow).
Maybe this could be trivial to change but it’s really a must have to have an half decent integration in the look and feel of an app.

Its hard to use custom graphics to change the appearance of the box otherwise. Eg in a cartoony game, its hard to use the input box with some cartoon style border. [import]uid: 8872 topic_id: 9999 reply_id: 36494[/import]
