Transparent parts of image rendered as solid

Just need a little help :slight_smile:

I want to display an image which has some pixels alpha=50% transparency but the partially transparent part is displayed as solid. I’m using display.newImage.

How do I use alphas?

My fault. I was using png8 not png24.
