Hello! My name is Robb Cornwall. I’ve been stalking the forums for some time but this is my first post Around a year ago, I was inspired by Bubble Ball and Robert Nay’s success and had an idea for a game that really wanted to get made. I looked around and found Corona and started developing. I started with zero programming experience and worked my way from the ground up building this game. I wrote code, moved on, got better, went back and revised my previous code, and did this over and over until it was what I wanted. Now I’m 18, just started at the University of California San Diego as a computer science major, but my passion is still mobile games, especially with Corona.
The game’s name is “Traxz” and it’s a physics puzzle game where the player places objects to get a ball to a goal, except with this game, the player can put any object anywhere they want. This gives them total freedom to be creative and solve the puzzles their own way. Some paths might be more efficient but theres an unlimited number of ways to solve each puzzle.
I started an IndieGoGo for the app to try to raise the money I need to finish the project. I’m still using the Corona Trial, my screen capture software is sub-par as you can tell by the video on the website, and pretty much I just need the finances to finish this long long project. So if you want to check out the game, go to the site and tell me what you think or maybe even help fund it.
Thanks,
-Robb
