Trial Version of Corona

I’ve registered and downloaded a trial version of Corona. What are the restrictions in place on the trial ? Am I right in saying that I can use this for as long as I like to create Apps that run in a Virtual Device ? Is it only when the I want to publish the App online that I need to pay a subscription fee ?

That is correct - and the trial has no expiration. Only when you are ready to submit your app[s] to the appstores you will need to pay for a subscription.

The concept of the corona SDK seems promising, i am going to evaluate it, before that is there any catch related to performance?
