Troubled with 'trial' version of corona on mac OS 10.6.8

Greeting all. I need some help here.

I recently downloaded and installed the starter pack of corona. When i run it, i got notified that i’m using trial version and suggested to make a purchase.

I don’t really mind about pop-up and notification, this is a free (or trial actually?) version anyway. My problem is i can’t find the menu File -> Build everyone’s discussing around on the forum. (I don’t see any menu actually…) And without build menu, i can’t publish my app…

I’m using OS X 10.6.8.

I installed corona SDK 2011-704a from https://developer.coronalabs.com/content/coronasdk-2011704-0

I run corona from the Terminal.

Then i got those windows i attached.

So my question is, where can i find those menu?

Is this issue only exist on older version?

Do i have to use the newest version to develop app with corona?

Any enlightenment is greatly appreciated.

Thank you before…

You seem to be using a very old version.   I would trash the existing install and download the free ‘starter’ edition from here:

https://developer.coronalabs.com/downloads/coronasdk

Is should be build 2013.1137

Build 1137 won’t run on 10.6.8.

So there’s no way but upgrading my OS first…?

Ok thanks a lot toby and dweezil.
