true and false about Admob, I need replies please!

Hi,

I have a question, I will like if any people can say about this sentences about admob if is true or false, I read much about Admob and I have questions, but I think that the more interesting is know the true for me and other users:

1.“Admob ban accounts without fraud”

2.“If any person do massive click you lose your account and ban”

3.“Admob not pay amount very high”

Its all, I think that if some people write about Admob, other people hesitating like me could see the reality and not ask more, what do you think? Its my 3 sentences that do think to me.

I have a hypothetic reply to 2, in theory nobody lose time in massive click and if you have much traffic Google evaluated this right? I think for example in Rovio Angry Birds, if they have two or theree users that do massive clicks they lose them Admob account? Rovio can lose millions by 1 or 2 users?

I wait your replies, I think that do good for all.

Your questions are not only relevant for AdMob. I’d say that they are relevant for most advertising networks.

  1. false.

They would not do that for no reason at all. If you’ve read about others saying they do, I’d take it with rather large grain of salt as I believe they must’ve done something to trigger Google to ban their account. One problem though is that in the event you want to appeal their decision, Google has a reputation for being every unresponsive.

My own experience has been good though, as I had a problem a few years ago with “excessive clicks”, but I was just issued a warning with a chance to explain the activity. Upon further investigation they could track the clicks which turned out to be some of my relatives thinking they were doing me a favour by clicking on every ad they saw. I told them to stop, and Google revoked the revenue from these clicks and considered the matter closed. I haven’t had a problem since.

  1. true and false.

This would most likely be based on CTR (Click-Through-Rate. i.e. what percentage of the ads get clicked on). If you have a large number of users, and only a few that abuse the ads the CTR will not be affected too much, however if you only have a few users the CTR could reach unusually high levels and trigger Google to start inspecting your account.

  1. false.

AdMob is now part of AdSense which means that PayPal is not an option anymore. You need an AdSense account to offer AdMob ads in your apps. AdSense requires you to have a legal address and bank account registered for payment (you can also get checks mailed to you). Google will automatically credit your bank account when your revenue reaches $100. You can increase the limit yourself if you want, but the minimum is $100.

Thank you very much @ingemar,

In 2, which is a good CTR? Intersticial have about 12 - 17% CTR and banner about 1 - 3% but  have understand that games like Flappy Bird can have x5 more for the game.

In 1, if me detect fake clicks how can I do say to Google for not ban?
