Please excuse this request for help from someone who is more producer than developer, but I’ve not had any luck trying to figure this out on my own. My dev has been slammed and not able to spend much time on the issue, so I’m trying to troubleshoot as much as I can.
He and I started building an app when the stable release was still 484. Mid-development, I happened to upgrade to 591, but he did not (and I didn’t know it). I kept telling him that the Twitter function wasn’t working, and he thought I was crazy b/c it was working fine for him. So we figured out that we were running different versions, and when I went back to 484 the Twitter function ran fine again.
However, I really need to get the app to work with 591 b/c from what I can tell I can’t build with the latest iOS Xcode using a 484 corona build. Which means I also can’t put a 484 build on a device that is running iOS 5 because those devices need latest version of Xcode.
So, if we can figure out what changed with the Twitter thing we can move ahead and use 591 and hopefully be all good.
The basics are this-- 484 works as expected. With 591 I get a grey screen and a never-ending spinner (this is all happening through a webkit popup).
I’m hesitant to just post the console output without first gathering some thoughts, but happy to do it if it will help diagnose things, and I have console output logs from both builds if anyone should want to see.
