two authorized computer limit

I’ve been evaluating Corona and like many others I’m very impressed with the features, ease of use and quality (I’ve done mostly obj-c programming on mac & iphone for the past 6 years and it’s a little mind blowing how easy Corona is)

The one thing I’ve hid during my evaluatino is the two computer limit (I guess it used to be one computer)

I have three computers I flip between – One windows computer and two macs… I just got hit when I tried to authorize my third computer.

I totally understand the business reasons why there is a limit and I’m OK with that for building ‘real’ binaries but given the trial period is unlimited I’m wondering if there was a way I could enable essentially infinite machines for development and only have my main mac for my ‘official’ builds. This way I can debug/develop in the corona simulator on any machine

As it stands now I’m thinking I have to create a second dummy account for my third computer so I can develop with it (which is a pity)

That is a pity, but not hard to do and probably easier for Ansca than trying to come up with some special licensing mechanism to handle the situation. Since the trial is unlimited it’s not a big deal to just use the trial version on one machine. [import]uid: 12108 topic_id: 8426 reply_id: 30186[/import]
