Two widget.newTableView( ) features sorely missed

On my actual project, i need a large tableview with many single word entries. There are two things, which make the widget.tableView() unfortunately unusable for that:

  1. The height is limited to a minimum of 40px
  2. There is no possibility to jump to a specific entry or y value. Scrolling with entrys > 500 is unacceptable for the user.

Is ther a revision planed on this topics?
