Ultimate Coins Game Version 2.0, reloaded!

Hi guys,

I just want to let you know, that my version 2.0 of Ultimate Coins Game was submitted yesterday on AppleStore, so it will be available soon, I hope…

This new version incorporates the latest features of CORONA SDK, like native keyboard, scrollable text box and button library.

It was redesigned and right now is more polished than previous version.

And of course, once available I will post some promo codes. I´ve also submitted a Lite version (free) with limited features, so it will be available soon as well.

I will start another project in CORONA related to South Africa World Cup, so I hope to use new CORONA features as they come available.

New version 2.0 accepted and available here:

However, I guess screenshot are not updated yet on AppStore (in fact I uploaded them again, but still activate the previous ones, I don´t know why… :frowning: ), so it could take a few minutes for AppleWebServer to update its new screenshots content of this version. Any way it is now available!

The Lite version of this game still on review, so I guess it will be available very soon as well.

Great game and thanks for sharing. I played a few levels and was impressed with the graphics and response. My first time seeing a real Conona-generated app in action.

I did see it crash (?) one time after I played a few levels after I let it time out before finding all the coins. It went directly to the iPhone launch screen. I looked at the Crash Log and didn’t see anything for the app so I’m not sure what happen. I was moving the coins around with my finger trying to find the last coin when it jumped to the launch screen.

Three points of feedback:

  1. Need a way to turn off the music.
  2. Use the last player’s name instead of VLSARG every time the app starts.
  3. The help screen text is not very readable on my “older” eyes. Maybe an option for larger font size or different font/bg color.

I enjoyed the game and seeing what Corona can do.

I’ll add a review on the App store.
