Unable to build an Android Project

I’m currently using the 30 day trial version and I was trying to build an Android version of one of samples to see if it would build it. I followed the instructions at (http://developer.anscamobile.com/content/building-devices-android). I did the open for build option selected Android and selected 2.2 build. Then I pointed the developer key at the debug.keystore file and then put in a password of android. However at that point it wouldn’t let me anything for the key alias field and the continue button stayed grayed out.

Anyone know what I’m missing? [import]uid: 11021 topic_id: 3651 reply_id: 303651[/import]

I had the same problem. I remember a thread on this forum where someone wrote you should select your keystore file, then restart Corona at that point and then it should work…or some way like that.
I built my own keystore file using the Android online docs and that worked for me. [import]uid: 11219 topic_id: 3651 reply_id: 11149[/import]

Yeah it looks like I just had to restart Corona as you mentioned. It worked after that. Thanks. [import]uid: 11021 topic_id: 3651 reply_id: 11189[/import]

Bringing this thread back to life just to add a probably not so popular, but still frustrating related issue and solution… For me, the password of “android” was not working (on my Mac OSx 10.6.8) - so I never got the androiddubugkey as a choice in that second dropdown…
Turns out I was on an older version of Java (1.5)… so when I updated to Java 1.6, it was resolved. [import]uid: 99306 topic_id: 3651 reply_id: 83413[/import]
