Hey Chuck,

Can you let me know if deleting the CoronaSDK folder from Applications and copying it across again from the DMG you downloaded solves the issue, please?

Thanks,
Peach :slight_smile: [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 25390 reply_id: 102539[/import]

Peach, Thanks!

Trashing all Corona files and the folder (except for Corona Project Manager) and then dragging the folder generated by double-clicking CoronaSDK-2011.704 results in nothing being added to the Applications folder (although the expected “+” appears when the drop is attempted).

I note that the Corona icon is still on the bar and the (old) version of the simulator still runs with the main I’m currently using, however.

Thanks in advance for your instruction on this.

Wow, nothing copies?

No worries about not deleting CPM, just yeah, if you’ve trashed the actual CoronaSDK folder from applications and cannot add it back for whatever reason, 2 things to consider;

  1. Does your account have full admin permissions? (Seems obvious but always worth checking)

and

  1. Redownload Corona in case something got broken there.

Lastly if you download it again and it still wont add, could you please try adding any random application to the folder just to be sure it is specific to Corona?

Let me know and we will go from there, though I am hoping step 2 may resolve this.

Peach, I answered via email. Would you prefer that I post it here? Thanks. chuckwilk [import]uid: 11421 topic_id: 25390 reply_id: 102942[/import]

One item I failed to mention in the email in response is Yes. I am able to install other apps in the OS X Applications folder. [import]uid: 11421 topic_id: 25390 reply_id: 102976[/import]

What email did you use, sorry? (I’m not sure if you meant you emailed me or you emailed support.)

I’m happy to look at anything you email but at this stage I’d also like you to file a bug report using the link in the top right including all the details we discussed above.

Can you do that and tell me bug # please?
